Today, our most experienced tour guide, King. Took out a small group of kind-hearted, eco-conscious explorers, who were not looking to bathe, shower, or ride an elephant, into our vibrant reserve, looking for our three elephants.
At first, she couldn’t see them. they didn’t uncover the usual signs of playful mud bathing, rejuvenating spa treatments, or refreshing river adventures, so where could they be, she thought? Then she noticed the mahouts far in the distance.
Undeterred, the group walked closer, still unable to see the herd, and then, like something from a biblical tale, the majestic trio emerged from the lake and sounded a welcoming trumpet to let the guests know where they were, and finally, the new forever friends were united in the reserve.
